Media player

For music geeks like myself, one of the hassles of packing for a trip used to be deciding which CDs to bring for my Discman. With the advent of high-capacity MP3 players, that is thankfully a thing of the past. The newer generation MP3 players have more than enough storage space to fit in your entire music collection, provided you’re diligent in maintaining your music and media library. Some even have video capability, for those willing to invest the time to digitize and convert movies, TV episodes, music videos and the like.

These days it seems that every electronics manufacturer is offering a portable media player of some kind. Of course, the more popular units are the iPod made by Apple. But one of the things that the iPod lacks is the connectivity offered by the extensive suite of Microsoft software and hardware products. That is where the Microsoft Portable Media Player comes in, and it can offer something that no other media player can offer. The Microsoft Portable Media Player offers the easy internet connectivity, and operating software, that you have come to know and understand for years offered by Microsoft. The Apple iPod and iTouch, in their various incarnations, are still the market leaders in this field, and they have their fans. but other manufacturers such as Creative, Sony, Samsung and Philips offer similar players. Again, choosing one that fits your needs is merely a mailer of being a smart shopper, collecting all the information before making your purchase.
